 ABOUT MUSICIAN'S HEARING SERVICES:  Lisa Tannenbaum, M.S.
Music Industry Audiologist Lisa began her career in 1985 as a clinical and rehabilitative audiologist. In 1992, she was offered an opportunity to learn about and promote a (then)new concept and technology for musicians called in- ear monitoring. The manufacturer of the in-ear monitors was concerned about ear safety and required that only audiologists, with special training, could fit the product. Lisa was intrigued with the idea of blending her audiological expertise with her love for music and committed to learning all she could about the hearing needs of musicians. She found her “niche” and created Musician’s Hearing Services. The knowledge and skills Lisa acquired early in her career have equipped her with a solid foundation to provide the preventative services on which she now focuses. Her hands-on experience during the past 18 years with listening to, assessing and addressing the hearing related needs of musicians and others in high-risk music environments makes her uniquely qualified. Musician’s Hearing Services is owned and operated solely by Lisa and all services and products are provided by her directly. Because of this, each client receives the consistent, comprehensive and highly personalized attention that Lisa is known for.
